A Sabbath Day

Hey there and welcome to Old Georges on this  fine sabbath day. I pray you are remembering it and keeping it holy. For that is what it says we should do. Was trying to sleep in, which is hard for me anyways. Getting better at that sleeping thing but have never been one to stay in bed with out a good reason and never thought sleeping was a good enough reason. As the house cat was meowing and the light of day was in my eyes. It was apparent my plight was in vain. My anger was directed at the poor cat and as I throw her out the door, the concept of,  keep it holy,  came too mind .Some folks say that Sunday is the sabbath. While others say it is Saturday. Personally I use Saturday for it is the last day of the week. With God, the concept that it is the - thought that counts - comes into play  so very much.  The Sabbath was made for man. It is a promise from God himself that if we take a day off and remember him that he will give us every thing we need the other 6 days. With this in mind it is more important to take a day in remembrance. Then to worry about what day it is. In this modern day society some people have Mondays off for instance but  whatever it is the thought that counts. Praying then that your thought s are directed towards things that last and are relevant to eternity.

Slow spring

Hey there by golly, Been a couple good weeks around here. Pray all is well with youall. Sure liked the video and song that I posted on this site. Has a bunch of meaning and truth. Just hope it is not to late to take it back. Our country that is. The people who are running this country at this moment are such bald face liars it makes me sick. Have not been real motivated in much of anything as of late. Just trying to get by and spread the truth to whoever will listen. Solemn, slow spring it has been so far. The weather in this part of the country has been about the same as my attitude. Had some real warm sunshine earlier but as for April and May, not much sun and not very warm. Even the garden is slow with a few of the cooler weather crops barely hanging on. Like the broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are doing alright as well as the garlic. The ground does not seem to be warm enough for most of  the seeds to come up. Have not considered putting out the peppers and tomatoes. They are having trouble enough in the little green house that I have.

Really should get something substantial written for this site but my ambition is lacking as well as my motivation. Wanted to say Hi to youall however so there you have it. Until we meet again God Bless,  Grampa Will
