Burning Time

Hey there, been too long again!! This is my first day off in 25 and most of the shifts were 12 hours long. They have had me working on the Brush Creek fire. Was grading the roads to get the actual fire fighters to the line. Lots of long hours but not much work. The biggest thing that needs to be said is that I have never seen a bigger waste of money in my life. It's not the workers presay but the way it is run. It is obvious why our country is in so much debt. Not very many people are going to say anything, for they are all making the fat bucks. It was almost unbelievable.

Hey There, pray all is well with you all. Notice the change of names in the category department? Learning more about this every day. Went from the Mtn. Trader to the Weekly B.S. because I  do not write in the Trader anymore and I was hopeing that a weekly deal would make me apt to write more often. We will have to see if it works. Trying to change things around because every time I talk about God that we get different advertising up on the site. Guess it is all based on what is said in the article. So will have to add different content so the ads show up differently. So will have to talk about lawn mowers or brooms or something and then relate it back to the original subject. Then the content will be varied so maybe the ads will be also. Being how everything is really related back to one it should not be that hard to do. Lets take brooms for instance:

Hey there!!!!

And how's it all been there now by golly?  Been decent here, with it's ups and downs of course. Haven't got any stories finished as you all have noticed and haven't got any pictures taken either. Still in the works however. Just wanted to say hi to all you fine folks. Been one of those weeks I guess. A guy some times gets those homey kind of feelings and ya just need to touch base with your base, if you know what I mean.

You know something? Had a chance to go fishing the other day and took it. Was that sure nice? Took the old lawn chair, a few worms and a couple sticks of fire wood. Must have sat there for 3 hours for it was after midnight when I got home . Oh it had it's ups and downs as usual. Like I lost three hooks, snagged on the snag that happened to be placed in the way . But all in all it was easy to keep the attitude up. There you have it though, some days are easier then others. It helps on all your days to keep focused on something besides whatever it is we think the problem might be. For sure it is mostly in our minds that the biggest problems usually exist. Have you all ever noticed that? I have in my life. When a little patience is used, things are not as bad as they seem at first. Thats the foundation that should be laid daily. This letting the world and all it's supposed troubles drag a person down is ridicules. We are better than that. The battle is already won, dagnabit anyways. There are just a few things a guy needs to remember is all. It's been good.
God Bless to all.    Grampa Will

Been a week

It has been a week, just kind of flew by. Hope all is well with you and yours. It would be nice if you all got more stuff done than I seemed to. Have a couple of stories to finish if the chance ever arises. But it hasn't yet. Seems more and more that we had better tie a bigger knot at the end of our ropes. Been hanging on my end so long it's about wore out. What is this lack of respect for life that we find in this latest shooting? It says, in the end times man will do things unspeakable. That is one of them. Didn't that guy have a dad or mom that cared or even a neighbor or something? Lord have mercy. Forgive us for we know not what we do. Have we gotten too busy that we do not have enough time to help someone besides ourselves?  It is not the guns fault nor could you stop this kind of thing by trying to take all the guns because you would not get all of them and if someone wanted one they could just make one or something else that might be even more destructive. The point is

Here we are, for where one is, there they are. Meaning we are all in the same boat here on earth and through this we can all get better. Have not spent enough time in this computer world but have big plans to spend more and more as the world turns. That's like hope, there is always that. If our confidence will be our strength then we already know that the battle is won and we carry on in spite of the trials that arrive. I know that this world is as close to hell as I'm getting, thank God. So whats been happening in your world? Did you all stop and pick up that piece of garbage that was in your road or did you leave it for someone else to pick it up?

Hey There and hows it all been? Good I hope. We'll have to call this part of this site something eventually, someday but for now I had better shut up and write something. Would like to make this section a way of staying in contact with everybody on a continuing basis.

Well, this is a new start. Made the transfer over to the net and this is where it will all be. It will be nice to grow together and we will pull this all together . Have a ways to got to get the store going but all in due time.  Going to see my folks. They are, of course, way up there in years and doing as good as can be expected. Just like the rest of us, one must keep on keeping on. What was that my dad always said "never say 'whoa' in a horse race".

Speaking of the rest of us good, red blooded Americans that are proud of our country and what it stands for and the freedoms we have. In our every day lives is where we make the difference. What we stand for is portrayed in our actions. What kind of deals we make and being fair in all our dealings. It's time to start showing others how it is done. Apparently there are a few people who do not think you need to be an American to live here. Lets get this straight, if you are going to live in America you need to be an American and speak American and be proud of America. If you want to be something else then go some place where they believe the way that you do. When in Rome do as the Romans do is what is written. Might seem sometimes that it is already lost but never give up. God Bless to all  Grampa will
