Happy Thanksgiving

    Well well it's another turkey day upon us. Of course we are looking forward to a great get together. Pray you all are thankful for what you have no matter how little or how much that might be. There is a secret to life that lies in that concept. Hope that all of you find it.  It's like that one song that says "If you can't be with the one you Love then Love the one you are with." Lots of truth for sure however each circumstance has it's own situation of course.

    The big guy up stairs has a way of not giving any more if we don't appreciate what we have. Lets say that you have nothing, well please believe that if you go to the Lord and are thankful for having nothing, saying something like "Thank you Lord that I have nothing and if thats the way you want it then that is what I'm thankful for", believe you me that he will fill your plate. Have been there and done that in my life a couple of times. It was in my own selfishness that I had got to the point of nothingness and it is in our weakest moments that he is the strongest.

    This following is a true story that portrays that same thing.... There was this friend of mine that I went to visit several years ago and he had just started a new business. Seems he was not getting very much business and could not figure out why. I asked him, don't you have anything to do and he answered, well a couple of things but they are no big deal and they can wait. So I told him of my experiences and that if he did what he had to do and got it done then something else would come along. With some doubt he started to do his meager jobs and when he was done a fellow walked in with a little more work. Instead of putting it off until the next day he went ahead and got it done and low and behold another came in. He called me a month later and told me that he was so busy he could not keep up. Do what is in front of you and being thankful for what we have is the same concept so lets getter done.
    May the truth of life be in your heart, mind and soul and may you prosper at this thanksgiving time.
